VexBolts

Was Vexbolts all over your For You Page in the last week of December? Incase you missed it: a viral campaign encouraged people to follow Vexbolts just so they could unfollow him at midnight on December 31st, 2024. The trend caught fire, with massive creators, TikTok accounts, major brands, and even sports teams jumping on board. At its peak, Vexbolts' account hit nearly 9 million followers, only to see over a million unfollowers within 12 hours of the new year. The whole campaign turned into a genius strategy for reach and engagement—two things that drive the creator economy. By making audience participation the focus, Vexbolts created a global trend that sparked conversation and boosted his visibility. Founder’s Corner

Here’s a wild stat: 80% of people who set resolutions today won’t stick with them past February 1st. That means if you line up ten people in a room, eight of them will drop their goals in just one month. 😭

If you’re reading this, I don’t want you to be part of that 80%. Let’s talk about how you can be the 20% that actually accomplished everything they want in 2025! I’ve got three simple strategies to help you not just set goals but actually crush them.

1. Start Visualizing

If you want to stay consistent, start by envisioning the version of yourself who already is doing the thing you’re striving for. Visualization isn’t just some motivational exercise—it’s a legit powerful tool, which can shift your mindset and align your actions with your goals.

  • Picture this: It’s March 31st. You’re at the gym, crushing your workout. You’ve stuck with your routine for three solid months. How do you feel? What kind of person are you in that moment? Think about your energy, confidence, and discipline.

  • The more vividly you can imagine yourself succeeding, the more natural it becomes to act like that person today.

Visualization isn’t just dreaming btw… I want you to COMMIT!! 😤 Close your eyes, take five minutes today, and vividly imagine what success looks and feels like for you You’re not just setting a goal; you’re picturing your future self thriving. This will rewire your brain to make decisions that bring that vision to life.

2. Build Habits, Not Just Goals

Goals are the destination, but habits are the vehicle that gets you there. Think of habits as daily rituals and consistent actions that create the momentum you need. Instead of only focusing on the end result, break your goals into actionable steps and identify the habits that will support those steps.

  • Want to launch a business? Start a habit of meeting with one customer every week to understand their needs. Or take 1 hr everyday and just research your ideas and keep a log book for notes.

  • Trying to lose 10 pounds? Focus on habits that fit naturally into your lifestyle. It could be as simple as prepping healthy meals on Sunday’s or committing to a daily walk that helps you hit 10,000 steps!

  • Big results come from tiny, consistent steps.

When you shift your mindset from “I want to achieve this goal” to “What habits will get me there?” you stop chasing a one-time W’s and start creating a lifestyle that supports your success.

3. Accountability

Letting someone in on your journey can be the difference between throwing in the towel and staying the course. It’s not just about sharing your goals—it’s about building a support system that keeps you grounded and inspired. Accountability creates a sense of responsibility not just to yourself but to the people who believe in you.

  • Choose someone you trust—maybe a friend, partner, mentor, or even a colleague—who genuinely wants to see you succeed. This isn’t just about anyone; it’s about someone who’ll call you out (with love) when you’re slipping

  • Be specific: Share who you want to become and the habits you’re forming. Let them in on the why behind it all—it’ll deepen their connection to your journey

When things get tough—and they will—it’s much easier to stay motivated when you know someone’s cheering for you and checking in.

This is your year! I fu**ing believe in you! You are capable and deserve to be in the 20% and I’m wishing 2025 to be the year u really stick with the things u love! ❤️
