Founder’s Corner

Let’s talk about creator businesses for a second. There are still huge opportunities out there, and if you’re a creator looking to launch something of your own, it’s still your time! 💫

But…

I’m seeing two things that are missing when creators turn their audience into a business:

  • a product that actually fits the market.

  • a team that can help build it.

A lot of creators have great engagement. This could mean a big following, maybe even a community or an email list, and naturally… the next step is launching a business. But not enough creators are asking: What product will my people will actually love? think in terms of product market fit. 😤

Here’s why product-market fit matters — and how you keep your audience coming back:

  • Hype sells once. Quality sells again. If the product doesn’t perform, your fans won’t return. ♻️

  • Loyalty comes from experience. Make the experience of using your product feel personal, seamless, and premium.

  • Trust can fade. Your audience trusts you until the product disappoints. Don’t burn that bridge… the focus should be to put out the best product, ALWAYS.

  • Competition is real. You’re not just up against other creators anymore—you’re competing with major brands and established companies. This is how you start thinking like a CEO! 👊

Which brings me to my second point…Surround yourself with a good team! 👏

If you want your business to grow beyond just you, you need other people who are just as invested. You need good people, who are thinking about product quality, operations, customer experience, all the little things that go into building something real. 📈

  • the biggest opportunity is in building teams around creators

  • Start with what you actually need. Hire very specific roles that you either don’t have time for or aren’t great at… then let them own it. 🤝

⚠️ Pro Tip: you have to invest in them first. Spend time training, sharing your vision, walking them through your workflows. Before they can take things off your plate, they need context and a clear understanding of what you’re trying to achieve!

If you’re serious about turning content into a real business, it starts with two questions: Is my product actually amazing? And who’s building this with me? Everything else flows from there.

I wish you the best and hope you can apply this advice in your business! ✨
